Why Goat?

Goat is one of the healthiest meats available. It is very high in iron and protein and contains less fat and cholesterol than skinless chicken breast.

Goat meat has also been found to contain more omega acids than other protein sources.

In addition to its health benefits, the mild flavor and versatility of locally raised goat makes it an ideal choice for the health conscious individual who is concerned with the source and additives in their diet.

Our Products

We raise our goats in a natural environment where they enjoy ample feed, plenty of exercise and individual daily attention.

All of our goats are raised humanely, without the use of antibiotics or hormones and our meat is guaranteed to be free from any drug residues.

Our meat is custom processed at a local USDA facility, vacuum sealed and packaged with our customized farm label.

When you purchase a cut of meat from us, you can be assured the animal was locally raised, humanely processed and the meat was packaged as fresh as possible in a USDA inspected facility.

Cooking Tips

Because goat is such a lean meat, it will dry out more easily than beef or pork when cooked using dry, high heat.

Remember to baste, cover, or cook with moisture, and goat will become a favorite in your household.

Be prepared to use a meat thermometer until you are familiar with cooking goat. Aim for about 165 degrees without going over and you will be pleasantly surprised with the tenderness and moisture of goat meat.

A few of our favorite ways to prepare goat are in a crock pot, wrapped in aluminum foil over the grill, or in an enclosed pan in the oven at low heat. Goat also lends itself well to flavorful dishes with curry and other strong spices.
